Faye Barkan
Faye Barkan has been teaching people how to use computers since punch cards. She has been designing websites since the beginning of the web. Faye is feeling old writing this. As a consultant, Faye has provided technical education and web services for major telecommunications companies, training centers, universities, and school districts. Her former staff positions include systems analyst for Educational Testing Service in Princeton, programmer for Trilog Associates in Philadelphia, and mathematics teacher for Lawrence High School on Long Island.

Faye has a summa cum laude B.S. in Mathematics with a minor in Education from SUNY at Stony Brook. She has passed several Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification exams, including Word XP Expert and Excel XP Expert. She is an editor for the World Wide Web Open Directory Project, which powers the core directory services for hundreds of the web's search engines. She is a registered Microsoft Partner.

Faye is an ACBL accredited bridge teacher and takes computer breaks by teaching bridge and poker. She is amazed at how often the rule of 80/20 applies to everyday life as well as computers. She is perpetually working on her golf game.

Michael Barkan
Michael Barkan has over 30 years of technical experience in both the data networking and data processing industries. He received his B.S. in Mathematics from SUNY at Stony Brook, followed by an M.S. in Computer Science from Rutgers University.
